Thank you so much for your interest in participating in the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch!

Please find below the details about participation as well as the sign up form and contract.

Important Dates:

Pumpkin drop off: Thursday Oct. 5th, Friday Oct. 6th

Event Date: Saturday Oct. 7th 11am-4pm

Where:

Van Buren block between S. Grove & S. Oak Park Ave

Commission: depends on participation choice

Option 1: Volunteer at the event-

85% to artisan 15% to Stern Glass Works
volunteers will help set up, run the sale, and clean up

Option 2: Pumpkin drop off and pick up -

75% to artisan 25% to Stern Glass Works
Drop off pumpkins during the drop off window and pick up at a scheduled time after the sale

Qualifying participants:

Consider yourself part of the Oak Park, Forest Park, River Forest and surrounding neighborhood community
Pumpkins are made of glass or ceramic

The Great Glass Pumpkin Patch is part of the 2nd annual Fall Fest! This is a free event for the community that features fall festivities and gives us a reason to gather once more outside as a community before the cold weather hits.

Minimum Pumpkin Price: $20
Max Price: Unlimited
All Participants must fill out a pumpkin price sheet to be submitted with their pumpkins. This will be emailed to participants once they have signed up.

The minimum price for pumpkins is $20. If any pumpkins are listed as less than $20 their price will be automatically corrected to $20 without notice and sold at this price.

Stern Glass Works is not responsible for any broken or stolen pumpkins. Stern Glass Works and its volunteers will be actively doing our best to ensure and safe and successful event but are not responsible for any broken works. If you, the participant, would like insurance for your works while on display at the great glass pumpkin patch, you are responsible for obtaining such insurance independently.

I, participant listed below, agree to participate in the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch put on by Stern Glass Works on Oct. 7th. I understand that all pumpkins are due by 6pm Oct 6th unless otherwise agreed upon. I understand that as a participating artisan I will earn a commission of 85% or 75% depending on the level of participation that I selected. I understand and agree that I am responsible for providing all pumpkins in good, safe (no sharp spots), sellable condition with proper packaging. I understand that all pumpkins not picked up by 6pm Oct. 8th will be disposed of unless a specific other plan was made and confirmed by Stern Glass Works.
