Our custom lessons are totally catered to you and your goals. Whether you're a total beginner wanting to learn the basics or an experienced artist looking to master a new technique, we will design a session just for you.

We offer one-off classes to tackle a specific problem or a series of lessons to help you complete a larger project.

    Small Group Lessons: 2-6 People

    Learn a new skill alongside your friends, family, or creative team.

    Small group lessons provide a fun, social atmosphere while still ensuring each student gets plenty of personal guidance from the instructor.

    Whether you want to explored stained glass, fused glass or kiln cast glass we will cater the experience to your groups interest!

    Our Custom Classes are scheduled privately to fit your needs.

    Click the Booking Request button above to let us know preferred dates and chosen project type and group size and we'll get back to you to finalize the details.

  • Logistics

    Duration: 2 hours minimum

    Location: Stern Glass Works — 817 S. Oak Park Ave, Oak Park IL 60304

    Long pants and closed toe shoes required

    Sheet Glass: To allow for total creative freedom, sheet glass is chosen by your group in the studio. The cost is calculated and billed after class.

    Kiln Firing: Kiln firings are not included but students needing the kiln receive a highly discounted rate for kiln use. Cost determined by specific kiln needs

    — 3 Hour Session —

    • 2 people: $145 per Student

    • 3 people: $140 per Student

    • 4 people: $130 per Student

    • 5 people: $125 per Student

    • 3 people: $95 per Student

    • 4 people: $90 per Student

    You can choose to focus on:

    Please note: not all techniques/projects can be completed in one session. Your instructor will advise you about if you project will be able to be completed in one session or if you’d need multiple classes.
