COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this once weekly program creative golden-adults will gather and delve into the Tiffany copper-foil stained glass method and/or fused and slumped glass. We will cover material and tool basics, step by step demonstrations and more. Processes covered will include but not be limited to glass cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, layering, enamel, metal inclusions, slumping, stringer work, powder drawing, and more. This is an open class, which allows each student to pursue an independent project based on their own interests. As the instructor it is my job to make sure that each lesson you get the support, demonstrations, and general guidance needed to pursue your glass skill development and project momentum. Basic materials and glass to learn with are included in the cost. Further glass for individual projects and specialty materials are available for purchase.
