    Leaded/Stained Glass: Flat Panels

The flat panel is the timeless heart of stained glass—an art form that transforms architecture with light and color.

We specialize in creating custom leaded glass and copper foil stained glass panels that become integral parts of a home, from stunning entryway windows and transoms to elegant cabinet doors.

Rooted in the rich architectural heritage of Oak Park, our expertise ranges from historically accurate Prairie School designs to bold, contemporary statements.

Each panel is built with meticulous craftsmanship to ensure it brings beauty to your space for a lifetime.

    Leaded/Stained Glass: 3D

We move beyond the flat panel, using the copper-foil technique to build stunning three-dimensional forms.

Our expertise is in creating bespoke sculptural and functional art—from intricate lighting fixtures and custom terrariums to unique decorative objects.

We thrive on creative challenges and will work closely with you through prototyping and problem-solving to bring your most complex ideas to life in glass.

Kiln-Formed Glass: Fused, Slumped & Cast

Kiln-forming allows us to create functional and sculptural art with heat.

The process sometimes begins with fusing—a collage-like technique where we layer colors and textures to craft vibrant pieces. These fused sheets can then be slumped into molds to create one-of-a-kind tableware or lighting features.

For more solid, substantial works, we use kiln casting to transform large chunks of glass into a range of 3D forms, from intricate sculptures to architectural tiles with impressive texture and depth.

  • a jigsaw puzzle made entirely of glass. you can see the puzzle partially set up showing a wave scene with the rest of the pieces seperated out. This comes with a gift box of hand cut wood with a wooden insert to protect and display the piece.

Cold-Worked Glass: Cut, Shaped, Glued & Polished

Cold working is the comprehensive discipline of shaping glass without a kiln or torch. This hands-on process encompasses a vast range of possibilities, allowing us to:

Construct & Sculpt: Build solid forms by laminating glass, then cut, carve and polish the blank to create your unique piece.

Alter & Modify: Precisely cut, drill, or grind existing glass objects to give them a new function or form.

Repair & Restore: Expertly and seamlessly restore broken heirlooms and treasured pieces.

Finish & Detail: Achieve the final, perfect surface through sandblasting, etching, and brilliant polishing.

This mastery of technique ensures we can bring a high level of artistry and precision to every project.

“This is a wonderful, community engaged business doing beautiful work. We were searching for someone to make a replica of a decorative leaded glass window in our old Oak Park home. Maia was very friendly and easy to work with. She didn’t bat an eye at working with our special requests and the results are stunning.”
