Fused Glass and Fun!
Did you know…?
Fused glass has been around for THOUSANDS of years!
Ancient Egyptians and Mesopotamians practiced the art of glass fusing as early as c. 2000 BCE after discovering how to fuse pieces of glass together using high temperatures. Beads, amulets, and other small decorative objects were highly prized during this time due to the incredible craftsmanship it took to create them, but modern day fusing/kiln formed glass is on a whole new level.
Experiment with making dish-ware, coasters, vases, trivets, garden stakes, sun catchers, and so much more when you give fused glass a chance!
