Inclusivity Agreement

Stern Glass Works is a community space. We will not tolerate hateful comments or actions. If you are deemed harmful to others you will be asked to leave the class with no refund. It is the prerogative of a Stern Glass Works employees to decide when someones actions are deemed harmful.

Liability Waiver, Refund Policy & Photo Release

A. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability Inherent Risks: You acknowledge that working with glass and related studio equipment involves inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, and exposure to chemicals or dust. Your participation in any studio activity is voluntary. Health & Safety: It is your responsibility to consult a physician regarding any past or present injury, illness, or health condition that may affect your (or your child's) ability to participate safely. Please inform your instructor of any relevant conditions before class begins. Waiver of Liability: You knowingly assume all risks associated with studio participation and accept full responsibility for any personal injury that may result. You agree to release and hold harmless Stern Glass Works, LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, causes of action, or liability for damages arising from your (or your child's) participation in studio activities. B. Class & Workshop Refund Policy To ensure we can properly prepare for our classes, we adhere to the following refund policy: Full Refund: A full refund will be issued if: You cancel your registration at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class start date. The Studio cancels the class or workshop for any reason. Partial Refund: A partial refund (less a $50 processing fee) will be issued if you cancel your registration within the 7 days leading up to the class start date. No Refund: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after the class start date. C. Responsibility for Personal Property Stern Glass Works, LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. This includes, but is not limited to, money, jewelry, electronics, or personal equipment. Please bring valuable items to the studio at your own risk. D. Photo & Video Release You grant Stern Glass Works, LLC permission to use photographs, videos, or audio recordings of you or your child, and/or your artwork, for promotional purposes, including our website, social media, and print materials. Participants will not be identified by full name without explicit consent. No financial compensation will be provided for the use of these images or recordings. Want to be tagged?
